IOENERGY considers itself the solution to the conditions of the current reality of the Basque business fabric to improve its positioning and capacity to generate value in data-based products and services.

The overall aim of the IOENERGY project is to bring together the two ends of renewable energy value chains that until now were far apart, the component manufacturers and the cross-sectional services around digitalisation and exploitation of the value of data, with the aim of taking advantage of the synergies of this proximity to transfer knowledge between both worlds and the development of more competitive solutions in the market for both agents.

It proposes facing a series of industrial challenges that generate demand for technology and solutions for digitising assets in the industry in general, and in the renewable energy sector in particular:

• Reducing maintenance costs.
• Extending the life cycle of the products.
• Reliability of equipment in extreme conditions.
• Guaranteeing the operation of critical assets.
