Aimed at conducting tests on the hub, the blade bearings and the bearing-hub and the blade-bearing joints.

Testing features:

• Three blade bearings under testing at the same time. One position for fatigue/extreme load testing. Fatigue blade (35MNm) and extreme blade (55MNm); directional loads on extreme blade.
• Range of components under testing [2-8 MW]
• Friction tests on pitch bearings under loads; life testing on the bearing raceway; extreme load testing on the bearings-hub system; characterization of bearing-hub-blade joints.
• Bearings and hub monitoring: temperatura, vibration, internal pressure.
• Mono-blade set-up testing.
