Aimed at testing and optimizing wind turbines pitch actuation systems and their components under similar conditions to those of a wind farm. It offers the possibility to test cylinders and hydraulic units integrated in a complete system.

Testing features:

• Functional, characterization, integrity, reliability, life. Unit and integrated testing.
• Action: 1500 kN (Bench: 3000 kN). Up to ~8MW.
• Blade inertia simulation.
• Temperature simulation [-20ºC,+45ºC].
• Bench and specimen parameter acquisition at different frequencies.

Fully operational. Ongoing tests on a complete pitch system (cylinder plus hydraulic unit).
